The Powerheart G5 is Cardiac Science's latest addition into the Zoll of AEDs. The Powerheart G5 has improved on the reliability, ease of use and advanced technology of the tried and true Powerheart G3 (now retired) . The G5 is loaded with capabilities to allow professional and lay responders to give a patient their best chance of surviving a sudden cardiac arrest event.

Automatic Self-checks of pads, battery and internal circuity every 24-hours.
Completes a partial charge of the high-voltage electronics every 7 days
Completes a full charge of the high-voltage electronics every 28 days.
Status indicator assures the responder the G5 is fully functional and ready to help save a life. Status indicator is not a light so it can’t burn out.
Rescue Coach AED Prompting with CPR metronome (responder hears press, press, press)
Clear on-screen text and voice prompts guide the user through the rescue process
CPR metronome keeps rescuer on pace to perform compressions accurately
Text screen also provides information to emergency medical professionals when they arrive
Non-polarized electrode pads
non-polarized electrode pads can be placed at either location on the victim's chest and in any order.
Watch and Wait Technology: AED will not tell you to peel the second pad off if you didn’t peel the first pad off. It gently repeats the same prompt until completed.
You can’t make an error with pad placement with this device.
IntelliSense battery
An internal chip is activated the moment the battery is plugged into the AED informing owners know the precise age, storage temperature, and other vital information directly to your Powerheart G5
