Pediatric Pads for Philips OnSite AED
The Philips OnSite/Home Infant/Child SMART Pads Cartridge is for child patients < 8 years of age and < 55lbs experiencing cardiac arrest. These pediatric pads reduce the energy delivered in a shock from 150 to 50 joules. The clear plastic housing has a “PULL” handle built into it for easy access. The housing serves to protect the pads from puncture as well as turning on the AED once the handle is pulled. It also helps to make changing out pads easier than ever before.
The pads have a shelf-life of 24-30 months when new. It is recommended to keep a spare set of pads stored with the AED for use if needed during an emergency.
