The Semi-Automatic AED will prompt the rescuer to push shock button when its required. This device has become increasingly popular especially because AED owners do not need to purchase pediatric pads with this unit because a simple touch of a button at point of rescue will allow the AED to switch from Adult to Pediatric (1-8 years old up to 55 lbs.) settings on the fly.
